There are so many types of coffee makers on the market today. I've never
been fond of coffee from a perk pot; it tastes harsh and burned. A nice
pot is the press pot or chambord. The grinds are place on the bottom, the
water poured over top, the grinds are allowed to sit for a few minutes and
then gently pressed to the bottom of the pot. The coffee never tastes bitter
or acidic with this particular pot.
